Eid Al Adha Friday October 26th
Assalamo Alikom Wa Rahmato Allah Wa Barakatoh,
Eid Al Adha will be on Friday, October 26th Insha Allah.
Salat-ol Eid will be at 8:30 am at the Martin Luther King Jr. Park just like last Eid. For directions please click on the link bellow. If it is raining or too cold we will still be at the park but inside the building as there is ample of space inside.
If possible, please bring your favorite dish for Breakfast, we will have certain items prepared but we ask that you bring a dish with in order to have food proportional to the number of people that attend. You are also encouraged to bring a rug to pray on inside or outside.
We are still preparing for the Eid celebration. We would like to encourage everyone to donate generously so we can have a good Eid Celebration especially for the kids. We still did not collect the cost of our activities. We are short at least $2500 so we are asking you to donate generously. We are asking families to donate $25 and Singles to donate $10 but we strongly encourage those who can to donate more.
If you would like to help with your time we have a meeting today Wednesday between Maghrib and Isha and we are looking for volunteers to help prepare for Eid. If you cannot come to the meeting, give us your name and availability and we will count you in.
